Youbal Lakandri

Full-stack developer, BCA graduate, and an illustrator when nobody's filing a bug.

Hi, I'm Youbal, and welcome to my site. I've always loved programming and building new things, so I designed this whole site to be more of a tool for me than a simple portfolio. I love interactive elements, so I put as many of them in here as I can.

It started with Minecraft. As a kid I spent countless hours on redstone, building surprisingly complex structures and mechanics. Without realising it, I was learning to break a problem into parts and make them work together. That habit of problem solving is still how I build today.

That curiosity took me through a BCA. In my second year I built CatDash, a platformer in Godot, entirely on my own. For my final project I built Mechdom, a 3v3 mech game in Three.js where you pick from six different mechs, this time working with an AI assistant. After that it moved into real business software. I took over my company's website and shipped its Sanity product CMS, then started a pharma ERP from the first commit. Its lead module shipped with 16 roles, 850+ commits in. Outside of work I'm building Questos, an AI-native developer platform, and when nobody's filing a bug I'm drawing.
